After years in exile, ex-con and black sheep of the family Jake Groden (Scott Cohen, Kissing Jessica Stein) returns to his Brooklyn roots in search of redemption. But the trip home poses more challenges than he bargained for. His idolized twin brother has died, leaving a grieving wife and son. His father (Judd Hirsch) greets Jake with skepticism and disdain, reconnecting with his Jewish faith rather than his prodigal son. Pouring his heart into saving the family furniture business, can Jake conquer his demons and break free from his brother's shadow.
